Now that you’ve asked, Disruption and drama are only bad when the perpetrators don’t know where they are going, what they are doing or why. Trump is living in an alternate reality.
He must pick a lane as he has (solely) on the issue of Immigration. Trump’s hard nosed tactics, (however cruel at times), have succeeded in stemming the flow. Are they so cruel as to be unconstitutional or illegal?
That issue aside, on almost everything else there is chaos. He has hinted at defying the Supreme Court.
On tariffs, and the role of government, he has been all over the place. 401(k)s have suffered and trillions in American wealth have disappeared because he has been a chaos agent of anarchy.

American society needs certainty, not bozo bulling like ill advised imperialism or tax cuts for the wealthy.
On foreign affairs, he has not engaged since Gaza-lago, and has only lately been seeing clearly what the rest of the world already knows, that Russia cannot be trusted to do anything except cheat, steal, kill, and perpetrate further crimes against humanity. Ukraine is our ally. Stay the course, give Ukraine what it needs to stay in the fight and continue to encourage a fair deal with Russia.
On cultural issues, like the arts, he has sought to celebrate only those who celebrate Trump. Kid Rock can only take us so far.
Trump’s efforts to eliminate anything having to do with diversity, equity or inclusion seem mean-spirited and aimed, particularly at Black people and organizations. Who’s next in the firing line, MLK, the NAACP?
Hopefully, Trump can steady the ship of state, back off on purges in the federal workforce, cultural and educational institutions, and restore confidence in government.
I am still hoping that President Lex Luthor can put aside his vengeance and suppress his rage and become the superhero America and the world needs.
