Geraldo joined the Fox News Channel shortly after the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001. With his role as wartime correspondent and senior correspondent, Geraldo did over a dozen tours of Iraq and Afghanistan.
In addition to live spots for a variety of shows on the network, covering virtually every hurricane and natural disaster including Hurricane Katrina in 2005, his hour long specials drew impressive ratings. Informing on topics such as the wife and child killer Scott Peterson, the 35th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s death, Michael Jackson’s demise, the passing of his dear friend Joan Rivers, and much more, Geraldo became a bedrock of the network.
