2007. Geraldo Rivera is in South Dakota at the largest motorcycle rally in the world, where he talks to a woman about her passion for bikes.
“Interesting question. I didn’t choose it, I just lived life and I’ve been extremely fortunate to blend motorcycles and photography and pave a career out of this..”
As the interview continues the woman describes her idols, female riders who crossed the country all the way back in 1910, adding oili to their rigs the whole way. She talks about a connection with the machine, the beauty of the engine, and how an open highway isn’t just for men anymore. Harley Davidson motorcycles and other bikes pass in the background throughout this clip.
The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally continues to be a major event held every year in South Dakota.
