In addition to consulting Salvatore Gravano multiple times for his authorized book, Peter Maas also wrote other bombshell books such as ‘Serpico’ and ‘The Valachi Papers’ on the first ever mafia soldier turned government witness.
Mr. Gravano was a high ranking mafia figure in New York before turning witness for the FBI. His testimony helped put John Gotti and others mafia kingpins in jail.
Author Peter Maas passed away in 2001.
