May 26th, 1977. Geraldo Rivera on his Good Night America program introduces us to Linda who shares her horriffic experience after silicone injections.

Linda tells the story from the start, while her lawyer explains most don’t want cases involving plastic surgery as juries feel people brought this on themselves. The story here is the exception, an improper technique was used and the jury did indeed find the procedure to blame. Later in the segment we hear from Howard Bellin MD, a plastic surgeon who claims to know two others still injecting silicone. He explains that it must be the right patient for the procedures, as many coming for surgery have other problems and you’ll never make them happy. Linda continues to face the possibility of death from her injections.
