Monica gives us the background on a sorry set of circumstances that led her to drugs and an abusive relationship. She describes a particular night where crazed ex-boyfriend was set off and initiated a brutal attack, the gory details paint a chilling picture. Photos of the scalp are shown, and later in the segment we hear from Gabriel Kind, MD, the plastic surgeon who was able to help Monica on a road to recovery.
