February 7th, 1994. Geraldo Rivera’s namesake talk show hosts Michael McGee of the Black Panthers and we hear from Brian of a Massachusetts skinhead group.
“Well you know I’m from Mississippi I know about the Klan, in terms of how the Klan operated in the south..”
Michael McGee declares that the country is already segregated and a woman asks Chad if he’s so proud of everything he’s doing, why wear the mask? Mark is a church pastor who says it’s the government pitting everyone against each other, blacks and whites would have no problem living as separate races and acknowledging the differences.
An audience member lost his father to Klan members and confronts Chad, who is in costume and insignia on stage.
A man name Joseph Fields closes out this segment claiming that when a black gets jumped by whites it’s all over the news, when it’s the other way around not much happens.
This day, Geraldo’s Television History.
