May 30th, 1994. Geraldo Rivera’s namesake talk show brings us Courtney Love’s father Hank Harrison, Kurt’s cousin, and the story of the legendary rocker.

He didn’t know they were using hard drugs until he came home one day and his answering machine was missing. Bev, Kurt’s cousin, speaks briefly before moving on to Sara, a fan who is depressed over his death. Individuals suffering from heroin addiction are in studio and we hear from a youngster who is thoroughly depressed and feels done with life.

Kurt Kobain died April 5th, 1994, within two months of this segment. His music has remained popular and his life iconic into 2026.
