Kenny Grumann, at the mall venue in Fort Lauderdale Florida, tells of finding out about his ailment and how he came to understand more as the years went on. His mother Ruth is on stage, where she describes the experimental treatments that they travel to Canada to receive, before information for those wanting to help the Grumann family is displayed on screen.
Young Kenny Grumann was diagnosed at age 8, and continued to raise awareness of HIV at public events into his 20s.
