June 11th, 1991. Geraldo Rivera on his namesake talk show program hosts a panel on both sides of this contentious issue. The fight for gays and lesbians to be recognized as valid minority groups has been going on for years, yet many consider homosexuality abhorrent. We hear from figures both for and against gay rights.
Included on the panel is Frank Joseph, founder of the organization ‘Wake up America’, Joanne Highley of L.I.F.E. for gay reform, Alan Philips a reformed student of L.I.F.E., Rick Notch who says being gay isn’t a choice, and Dr. Charles Silverstein an author who has been active in the community.
