This healthy and revealing edition of Geraldo gives you the tips and tricks for getting that perfect summer body, it starts with 20minutes a day. Summer, 1989.
“…I’ve had two children and even with exercise, it’s harder to keep it flat…”
In studio are fitness trainers Dan Isaacson and Denise Austin, as well as fashion expert Corbyn Zykes. The studio begins with some light exercise before an audience member explains that after two children, her stomach isn’t what she wants it to be. Fashion takes the first stab showing off some of the latest bathing suit styles that can help you draw the eyes towards where you want them.
After the expose of fashionable swimwear, worn by women and men, we move to Denise and Dan to get those after-children tummies into shape. Denise leads the stage and audience into the perfect situp. Slower is better in situps and we are shown elbow placement and what the different postures work. The timing is often overlooked and important in these exercises. The best tummy flattener you could have, as Geraldo joins in.
The original stay healthy.
This day, Geraldo’s Television History.
