We hear of the ancient fantastical earch for the golden fleece, supposedly made more than 3,000 years ago. Tim Severin believes this ancient Greek tale is based in fact, and he is determined to complete the same voyage in the same type of bronze age vessel.
The camera crew is on board Mr. Severin’s historically accurate vessel and throughout the segment we learn much of this tale from Greece’s historical past.
Tim Severin spent much time retracing historical voyages, and passed away in 2020.
