We learn about the 1974 commission’s findings, and compare with a 1937 report that called Marijuana a ‘killer drug’. After an introduction and background we visit the Bellevue-NYU medical center with a Dr. Jacob Borg, where they have an IRS stamp permitting experimental drug research. Geraldo describes his experience while under the influence, and we close with a warning: Don’t run out and buy an ounce of grass! Another report is mentioned detailing potential risks, that study found undue consumption caused the destruction of white blood cells in monkeys.
Today, Marijuana is legal in many U.S. states and is rarely referred to as a ‘killer drug’.
